Happy March!

Well Here is it.. March already and Ava turned 8 months! WHERE has the time gone? I can't believe how big our baby girl is getting!! Makes me feel like its going to to to fast! I haven't blogged in awhile because I've gotten a little over the top with things I like to do online. I have to keep up with to much stuff on here! Its getting a little ridiculous. I've got myspace, facebook, shutterfly, twitter(my new love) and this blog. I need to shut some of them down.. its to much to keep up with! I need to try to keep the blog updated because I know most of the family reads this!

Adelyn & Ava

I'm so excited about this weather we have had! Its been beautiful! We've taken Ava out for many wagon rides and she even had her pal Adelyn join her over the weekend. She had her first experience on an outside swing on Sunday and loved it! She giggled the entire time! I think we are going to have a little outdoor-sie girl! That's okay. Lord knows mommy needs the exercise so chasing her around outside is just fine to me!

Good thing she likes the outside because she's going to be camping all summer long! Jason and I have been looking at campers to buy and we are so excited about it. We love to camp and its something we want to do as a family. I was never the camper.. yuck. But the first summer Jason and I were together was the most fun I've ever had camping. We went up North so many times I can't even begin to tell you all the stories! Its going to be alot of fun to travel up north with a camper. I can't wait. We've been cooped up winter long and I'm sure Ava is sick of it! I know I am!

Ava is doing more and more each month! We've started on table food and she LOVES to feed herself. She is very much a fruit and veggie girl! Thank Goodness because I was worried she wouldn't like anything thanks to her daddy! She love all the green stuff and carrots! Puffs and Melts also top her list of things she loves. Puffs and Melts are little baby things that melt in your mouth. Not to bad.. She also likes the Gerber cheese puff things.. (think Cheeto) Every time she puts something in her mouth she says "mmm" Crazy girl. She loves to watch her Baby Einstein while she eats.. I know I probably shouldn't let her watch tv but she loves it and it works for us. And I can get things done! I've been having a hard time giving her baby food because she just pushes my hand away. I don't know what exactly to do about that.. LOL! She's drinking from her sippy cup really well now too. That took some time learning but she got it! She still likes her bottle to go to sleep. I'm going to ask around to see what other mommys did or are going to try to wein their babys off of bottles. I know its still early but might as well gather a bunch of tips to see what works! Ava's favorite song is "If your happy and you know it..." Every time (or I should say most of the time) it comes on she claps her hands. I've tryed to get a video of it and she'll never do it when I have the camera. So I gave up.

Being Silly!

This weekend we're FINALLY taking a trip to Michigan! I am so excited to see the our families! We will be celebrating Jason's mom birthday while we are there... So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her.. I will be staying for the week and will be coming home next Friday (3/27) Jason will be leaving Michigan on Sunday for work training the entire week in Minnesota! Yuck!! It will be his first time on a plane so he is so excited about that! I'm sure it will snow while he is there!!

That's about all that is new around here..I'm off to look for a layout for this page.. this is going to take an hour!!! I hope you all have a great St. Patrick's Day!! Take Care!!
